2002 the securing of a new ZawCAD/ZawMET customer, Jona Machining Company,
(Jona) of Los Alamos, New Mexico and Broomfield (Denver) Colorado. Jona will
undertake the construction and delivery of the ZawMET (ZawCAD) systems to
outside companies or purchase the unit for internal use. Jona maintains a web
site at: www.jonamachining.com. "The reputation for Jona quality is well
known in the nuclear service and machining industry and we are very pleased to
have them as our building/assembly contractor as well as the end user",
stated Wilmot.
Eagle has arranged for full developmental funds to build, test,
and deliver the unit to Jona, and provide Jona with a long term financing
package if desired. "This new construction and use arrangement will enable
Eagle to begin the construction and delivery of the ZawCAD and ZawMET units,
and provide us with a demonstration capability to new customers", stated
Mr. Wilmot. This package will enable sales of the new ZawMET process equipment
to begin promptly. Eagle will begin to solicit additional orders from other
qualified parties. Eagle has arranged an easily accessible location for the
demonstrations in Albuquerque. The location will be fitted for Eagle's use so
multiple heads can be operated on the unit to demonstrate airplane paint
removal, cutting capacities on various materials as will as the ZawMET
processes.
Each unit, with related equipment and specialty use
equipment, costs approximately $800,000. On a normal basis, it takes up to 4
weeks to construct one machine. Our associates in Albuquerque, NM will be
constructing each unit under the supervision of our chief engineer, Jim Frye of
EDC Engineering Inc. Solicitations have begun in the New Mexico at the oil
refineries and preliminary interest has been excellent.
